National Law University (NLU), Shimla, and Army Institute of Law (AIL) are both prestigious institutions that offer a BA LLB program. Choosing between the two can be a subjective matter and depends on various factors such as your personal preferences, career goals, and budget.
Here's a brief comparison between the two:

In general category, around 5 seats are there in Army Institute of Law, it is well-established law institute with great placement record, NLU, Shimla is in developing stage NLU Shimla don't have there own infrastructure, they have taken hotels for hostel and there classes are also in rented building,I will advise you not to join NLU Shimla, better to join army institute of law, Mohali.

    Hey there,
NLU, Shimla is a very new institute and has recently been established thus you can't expect much from it owing to well established NLUs already.
Army institute of law Mohali is a good institute and not much seats are offered for general students as mostly are reserved for army families.
But, yes, definitely, it's better than NLU Shimla as of now.Based on moot culture, placements and job opportunities and amenities provided.
