Chandigarh University is best. Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 300+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 80+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 52.11 LPA was offered by TOP Company. Computer Science Engineering students of University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered the highest package of Rs. 52.11 lacs for the Engineering branch. IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students. Worlds top IT giant Microsoft selected Computer Science and IT Engineering students consecutively for last three years, while number the selections have increased three times and touched 15. India's leading IT Company Wipro (394), Capgemini (217), Mindtree (101) while the global IT giant IBM also selected record number of 196 engineering students which is the highest number of selections made in any campus in North India.

Hi Thapar university is better over CU in many terms such as placements, crowd, facilities, reputation etc. However, Thapar charges more than CU but it is worth to take admission in Thapar. Chandigarh University B.E. (Hons. ). In CSE (Information Security) in Collaboration with IBM course is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 21 genuine verified students while VIT Vellore same course is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9 students at Shiksha. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thapar has various international rankings, excellent placement records, a qualified team of professionals as faculty members who provide the best possible guidance.

In my opinion, Thapar University is a reputable university. The school places a strong emphasis on experiential learning that is student-centered and built on the use of theories and concepts. Every year, companies like EY, American Express, FedEx, Hyundai, etc. Conduct recruitment visits on campus. The maximum package offered to pupils is about 17.66L. They offers top-notch education and job placements. The LM Thapar School of Management (LMTSM) was established on July 23, 2007, in the princely state of Patiala (Punjab, India), and is a part of the 64-year-old academic institution Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed-to-be-University). They are also well-known for the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and Thapar School of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Admissions are open now.
