    It's difficult to get a seat in central government college. You can apply in state government college if you have state quota. You can drop a year also and focus on JEE Main and JEE advance only. While doing your 12 th class it's difficult to manage JEE and boards exam preparation, your time and focus gets divided so it's advisable to drop a year and focus only on JEE Main and JEE advance.     No, you can't get any central government college. You should apply for state government colleges. If you interested then you can drop this year
