With a JEE Main 2023 AIR of 110,428, chances for top NITs or IIITs are very low. You can aim for:
Lower-tier NITs – Some CSE/IT seats in later rounds.
GFTIs (Government-Funded Technical Institutes) – CSE, ECE, or EE branches may be available.
State engineering colleges via JoSAA – Seats in reserved/state quota likely.
Other branches like ECE, EE, Mechanical, Civil as backup options

But National testing agency has announced cutoffs in percentile form for seeking admission in NIT or equivalent institutes for different categories of students as also eligibility for appearing in JEE Advanced examination. Even though the syllabus of the BCECE Mathematics is same as that of JEE Main, the difficulty level is not the same. JEE Main exam is much tougher than the BCECE exam.
