Being better depends on what you are looking for. DTU being older than NSIT is said to be better for core branches like electrical, mechanical etc. I personally have no experience of the DTU dept. Yes. The old university website (dtu.ac.in) is used for public announcements, circulars, and notices. The Samarth portal also known as DTU Student Portal is a secure, password-protected ERP system meant for your personal academic transactions. 

Log into your DTU Student Portal dashboard at dtu.samarth.edu.in, click on the "Examination" tab, and select "History / Grade Card". From there, you can view and download your verified semester grade sheets.
