DIT is good in terms of campus peace and quality of students, but LPU has better diversity and network for the companies and placements companies. So, for distance education, prefer LPU. If you are from Delhi, NCR region or from Shimla, Dehradun, then prefer DIT, then LPU. At last, prefer Bhartiya Vidyapeeth. -

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
