Which college is best between SSN and PSG for CSE?

    Hi Prasanth,
    You wouldn't ask this question in the first place if you really know about both SSN and PSG Tech. PSG Tech is a tier 1 college and SSN is a tier 2 college in placement, faculty, infrastructure, etc. Usually, the Chennaites who don't get PSG, GCT or CIT prefer SSN. I think both colleges provide almost equal exposure and opportunities and to answer your question - yes, PSG Tech is far better than SSN because of advantage of studying in PSG is that you will always have their brand name behind your back even after you leave the college.     I love both the colleges, SSN attracted many PSG Tech teachers to work for them. I prefer PSG Tech only because of its autonomy and freedom in setting curriculum. I am not big fan of Anna university curriculum, PSG curriculum is practical and one of the best in Tamil Nadu
    At present, self-supporting course staffs in PSG tech is not that great (government aided courses, still have some good lectures), SSN now recruiting very high profile lectures. SSN now mainly prefers lecturers with doctoral degree
