5 years agoIf your target is UPSC then college does not matter but it is always good to choose the best option available. Shivaji and PGDAV both are affiliated to University of Delhi. So, there is not much difference, be it year of establishment or brand name. But Shivaji colleges is ranked 51st in NIRF ranking 2020. While making a choice between the two you should consider nearness, extra courses, other activities like N. C. C, N. S. S and other extra circular setup. Best wishes.

In my opinion, if you want to prepare for UPSC or any other competitive exams later, you can pursue a BA in Political Science, Economics, History, or Sociology. Since their syllabus is heavily equipped with GK, Indian and world history, public policy, public administration, Indian and world politics, it'll be easier for you to strengthen your base.
