But since you are looking forward with CSE, you need to expand your horizon and look forward with the top private universities for engineering as well. Hi Poorna your score could meet the requirement of NITs. But the main thing the choice of the stream as CSE is the most popular stream and the seats for the same fill up the fastest. I would suggest you browse through the websites of some equally good private universities which would make your career a success and if you get a seat in NIT you can always withdraw your admission from the private college with a minimum deduction. Check the refund policy given on the website of the college. At least you will have a safe seat. Dear Poorna, from few years the demand of Computer graduates is very high in industries and IT sector due to increment in application and software based automation processes. So, your choice of course is absolutely perfect to begin your career. Well every university is doing good for their students but as per my knowledge I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B.Tech from here and she is placed in cognizant with good salary package. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills etc. Are the part of curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There are more than twelve Center of Excellence established by the prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence etc. For on campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for design and development center where students can work on their ideas. LPU is the better choice for pursuing B.Tech CSE as my friend is studied in LPU. LPU started the education journey in 2001 (16 years) inwards. And LPU aims at making the professional education stretching from local to global level and from class room based to the web based education My friend studied in Lovely professional University and got placed in Amazon, So I heard many times about LPU from my friend and according to him: To enable the students LPU keeps pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University.
