Which college is best for industrial engineering BITS, Pilani or IIT?

    BITS-Pilani doesn't offer BE in Industrial Engineering, you can pursue a similar course like BE in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering on the same line while selecting specific electives related with Industrial Engineering. But, if you are getting a call for Industrial Engineering from IIT-Kharagpur and IIT-D, go for it. To add on, BITS Pilani has got its flagship course of Computer Science & Engineering which is at par with the top IITs, so if you plan to go for CSE then BITS-Pilani is the place to be.

    Both IITs and BITS-Plani have their own perks. Both are big brands and dream destinations for students. BITS offers you the campus life which I promise no institution can offer you in India, but the best course in BITS is CS and not Industrial Engineering.So, in the same way, it will vary for each and every IIT you are referring to. So, it would be better if you compare specific IIT with the specific college of BITS-Pilani as there are other branches i.e. Hyderabad, Goa, and Dubai. Comparing IIT-Bombay with IIT-Rohtak won't do any good so you must be specific about the college you are talking. In these ways, you can get a better pictur

    Hello Bharat,
    BITS, Pilani is indeed very famous institute. But IIT's are class apart. They are the best in India.
