    I will highly recommend that it is worth pursing PGPM from this management school. Athena is located in Powai which is the Corporate hub of Mumbai. They have faculties who are top corporate executives. A combination of classroom and outboard learning helps an individual to develop holistic personality and it is the key area of focus for Athena School of Management. Multiple practical learnings involves Industrial visits, case-study solving, organising dramas; Rotaract Club and many more. Officially, the highest placement package offered to PGPM graduates at Athena School of Management has not been released by the school yet. However, according to the verified Shiksha reviews of the students and alumni of ASM Mumbai, the highest placement package secured by the graduates in the recent placement drive was INR 12 LPA.

To get admission into the PGPM course at Athena School of Management, applicants must secure valid scores in GMAT/ NMAT by GMAC/ CAT scores, followed by a GD & PI/ counselling. Moreover, if candidates have not secured valid scores in any of these entrance exams, they are required to appear and secure valid scores in ASAT - Athena Scholastic Ability Test. Moreover, admission without an entrance exam is not mentioned anywhere on the official website of the college.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the PGPM/ MBA course at ISME Bangalore and Athena School of Management are almost similar, in which candidates must complete their graduation with decent scores. Moreover, for the selection process, the accepted entrance varies from college to college:

  • Accepted Entrance Exam for PGPM at Athena School of Management: GMAT/ NMAT by GMAC/ CAT/ Athena Scholastic Ability Test. 
  • Accepted Entrance Exam for MBA at ISME Bangalore: CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ Other. 

Further, GD&PI are common selection processes at both colleges.

Yes, Athena School of Management does offer internship opportunities to MBA/ PGPM students. Moreover, as per the information brochure of the course available at the official website of the school. students have to undergo three internships (two months each in semesters one, two, and three). Students also get an opportunity to apply for international internships. Additionally, students have completed their international internships across the world in Germany, Italy, Holland, Turkey, etc.
