Engineering at LPU primarily CSE is a top-notch programme offering colossal growth to students and has the highest placement records where renowned companies visit our campus and offers record breaking packages that of 64 LPA (Lacs per annum) by Google, 62.72 LPA by Eightfold. Education: LPU provides a competitive edge through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence which caters to the requirements of the industry. In order to enable the students to stride with dynamic technologies, the university has various industrial tie-ups viz. , Google, Bosh, Pega, Cisco, Intel and Microsoft giving students an upper edge in respective careers. Here are following reasons which prove that LPU is best for CSE branch and also for placements: 1. Excellent placement record of CSE branch. 2. Industry Oriented Computer Science programmes. 3. Highly Experienced Faculty 4. Affordable Fees. 5. Having both UGC and AICTE approvals 6. Great infrastructure which is still increasing The placements are completely based on the performance, as so many good companies come to campus drive in the college. Apart from on-campus drive college gives us an opportunity to go for off-campus also. The current placement status of my college is good and college tries their best so students of all departments got placed in the genuine companies before the final semester exam. Overall view of placement in this college is very good. So that every student can be placed in companies visited such as SNAP deal, IBM, Amazon, Wipro, TCS and many more. For the Job prospects, we have careers advise lectures every term. Lots of career organizations are promoted by the department and we are encouraged to sign up to these for extra advice and information. The best thing about the teaching of this course is that it is research-led. The lecturers are done regularly followed by proper research; to enhance their teaching. I like the fact that some of the lecturers encourage us to engage during lectures and discuss issues that arise in the subject they're teaching. It would be great if more lecturers did this. Time to time various events are organized in the university like workshops, Science quiz and many more events which explore the students knowledge. The facilities are really good - with a decent and hygienic quantity also. I tend to use the library computers and printers - of which there is a good supply.
