Which college is best in terms of placements: Vel Tech, LPU, or Shiv Nadar?

In general if I say all three universities provide placements. I don't know about the rest two but in details I can talk about LPU as I have studied in LPU itself and I had the pleasure of acquiring good placement. All three universities you have mentioned are good. Always choose the institute that along with good education provides you a platform to improve your ideas and provide a stage to bring your innovative ideas into practice. As far as these colleges are concerned, I would prefer Lovely Professional University. LPU has one of the best placement records in the whole of India and that is why students want to join LPU to get placed. Right from Google to Microsoft, LPU alumni are working with the top brands at the package of 1 crore and above. Annually, more than 450 brands come to LPU to recruit students, where 90% of them are MNCs. Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU.
