Chandigarh University is the best place for Engineering. Chandigarh University is ranked among the best civil engineering institutes. Chandigarh University has the highest placement records in north India. Currently, am in final semester and already placed in a reputed MNC and working as an intern. Civil Engineering Department have signed MOU with some reputed industries like Glass Academy an initiative of Saint Gobain and Everest industries Ltd. Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have Diploma from a recognised college/ university.
B.Voc	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from recognised board
M.E./M.Tech	Candidates must have passed B.E./ B.Tech. in relevant stream with atleast 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) marks in aggregate. In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. A valid GATE Score would be preferred but not mandatory for admission.
