Chandigarh University has the highest placement records in north India. Currently, am in final semester and already placed in a reputed MNC and working as an intern. Civil Engineering Department have signed MOU with some reputed industries like Glass Academy an initiative of Saint Gobain and Everest industries Ltd. You can easily get admission to various engineering collegs with 60 percentile in OBC Category. Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have Diploma from a recognised college/ university.
B.VocCandidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from recognised board
M.E./M.TechCandidates must have passed B.E./ B.Tech. in relevant stream with atleast 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) marks in aggregate. In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. A valid GATE Score would be preferred but not mandatory for admission.
MBA/PGDMCandidates must have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three year duration in any discipline from the University recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination.
