    Hello Himanshu
Thapar University is one of the good universities as both take admission on the basis of JEE but for Thapar, you have to score well. If your marks are good, then go through it. It has better placement record than Chitkara University.

Placement never depends on the university, all have good placement but it depends on you, how you will be performed in college. Some of the points that are a fact of placement:
    CGPA&get;6
    10th,12th percentage&get; 60
    strong data structure and algorithm
expert in any one programming language
    good resume
    good communication skills
You will get 100% placement in any off-campus, on-campus placement. Nothing to worry about. Best of luck.

Hi Himanshu, At present according to the real time scenario, if you are looking for some reliable option for placements then I would suggest you to go with Chitkara University as if welcomes MNCs and top companies for placements ranging from a package of 15lac pa - 3.5lac pa and the record almost touches 100% placement assuring you with some probability of job even if you are an average scoring student. On the other hand Thapar University offers limited opportunities and not a guaranteed placement structure. All the Best!

The Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), which was placed in the top 350 of the Times World University Rankings 2022, is the finest choice for B.Tech CSE, in my opinion. The infrastructure is top-notch, the faculty are incredibly helpful, the placement rates are excellent, and you'll always feel competitive. If we look at Thapar's CSE department positions, the average package is 14 LPA, and it works with some reputable companies like Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, NVIDIA, Samsung, Accenture, WIPRO, Infosys, Amazon, Yahoo, and others.

Although, there are many universities whose curriculum for computer Science engineering is good but just like me you can have exceptional quality of education along with numerous other opportunities, by taking admission in Chitkara University. The institution is not just good but the best. Specially for computer Science engineering. The companies that recruit students of Chitkara are reputed and provide good salary packages to the deserving candidates. Infosys, Microsoft, Wipro, Google, Amazon, HCL are few of the organisations that visit the campus during its placement season. The curriculum of the department is designed in such a way

Chitkara University provides number of disciplines with great opportunities to its students. Each programme is interesting in its own way but if we talk about CSE, the department has been affiliated as the top engineering department in Punjab. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it gives both theoretical as well as hands-on practical learning knowledge. With such an incredible quality of education and curriculum, the institute is highly recognised for its placement and internship offers, where more than five hundred companies visit the campus during its placement season to provide good paying jobs to the students.
