Which college is better among DTU and LPU-Punjab for B.Tech lateral entry?

Dear Shruti, LPU has a wider scope of successful career options as its Tech programs of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IIMS, IBSs, etc. The B-School of the university has ACBSP accreditation. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Hi, LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university offers ample opportunities for placements to eligible students and leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students.

Both colleges are working hard and serving well in the field of education and providing skilled training to young aspirants. Talking academically, DTU is better than LPU, Punjab as the teachers and the staff is much qualified. But the exposure and campus era one can definitely feel at LPU. LPU is known for its vast scales and large cultural which definitely help one to get personality development. Moreover, placements wise LPU is better. There are more than 225+ corporate visiting every year for recruitment and recruits with high pay and benefits . For B.Tech lateral entry both the colleges can be chosen depending upon one's need . Though location wise also Punjab is a nice place to grow.

Go for DTU. It's a reputed college as compared to LPU. Job wise too it has a better record on campus and if you apply outside college too.

LPU, the name itself gives you assurance for the best academic knowledge and placements. College provides the extra classes for the all students. If ever you have any doubt about anything in the studies, you feel free to ask anything from the tutors at any time. Professors are always willing to help you. There are remarkable placements specifically for engineering department which are better than Chandigarh University. Many companies like Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Amazon, Google, Wipro, TCS, MAQ Software, Josh Technologies, Dell, Ericsson, Samsung etc. Visit the campus for placement. If you have good knowledge of the subject and your interview goes well then surely you'll get placed. The average package starts from 3.5 Lacs and the highest can go as far as 25 Lacs. All top reputed companies visited the campus. Many of my seniors are placed in well-known companies with decent packages. Apart from this, within the campus we have number of clubs for like, sports club, theater club, music club, etc. For you to follow your personal interest. PO4 : Conduct investigations of complex problems : Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions. PO5 : Modern tool usage : Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations LPU has formed a contemporary record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA.
