Hello!
Yes, LPU does offer Lateral Entry in B.Tech all streams. Engineering at LPU is always a talk in town. I have done my engineering from LPU and I remember many new faces join us second year through lateral entry admissions. As per the best of my knowledge, If you have done your Diploma ( any branch) and have scored 60% or above, you can apply for admissions. During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions, direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started. Further you can also apply for LPU NEST wh...more -
Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Instead of using old school books and...more

Dear Saezy, DTU and LPU are good public and private universities respectively in India and doing well in the education sector. Coming to the B.Tech (Lateral Entry), I would highly recommend LPU for this. LPU offers B.Tech (Lateral) in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Commendable Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till...more

Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a challenging task, as our career depends upon that. Both the universities are doing equally well, but here, I would prefer LPU. LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. LPU is a worldwide level University w...more

Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.
However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.
You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.
Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.
If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.
