LPU has a wider scope of successful career options as its Tech programs of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The stress is laid on developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. It is worth mentioning that LPU offers department electives in computer networks, artifici

    Hello!
Yes, LPU does offer Lateral Entry in B.Tech all streams. Engineering at LPU is always a talk in town. I have done my engineering from LPU and I remember many new faces join us second year through lateral entry admissions. As per the best of my knowledge, If you have done your Diploma ( any branch) and have scored 60% or above, you can apply for admissions. During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions, direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started. Further you can also apply for LPU NEST wh

Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Instead of using old school books and

Dear Aspirant, Being an Education Consultant, I can tell in a better way that DTU is not bad but LPU is too good when in comparison of duo. #LPU is a first private university in India to have an Accreditation of ICAR. #One of the prestigious School of business studies. #12 Center of Excellence to provide Industry based teachings at LPU Campus. #Unbeatable Placement records. LPU has been awarded by many outer agencies for Placements. #The International exposure and Credit Transfer programme. LPU has many valuable Global Tie-ups with foreign universities. #Unity in Diversity, LPU has more than 30000 students from about 70 countries, what

Dear Saezy, DTU and LPU are good public and private universities respectively in India and doing well in the education sector. Coming to the B.Tech (Lateral Entry), I would highly recommend LPU for this. LPU offers B.Tech (Lateral) in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Commendable Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till

Well, being one of the most sought after professions in India and around the world, a career in engineering gives immense job satisfaction if you have the flair for it. Though both the universities are good in terms of academic but being an alumni of LPU let me explain in detail. The eligibility is 60% in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3yrs. Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a challenging task, as our career depends upon that. Both the universities are doing equally well, but here, I would prefer LPU. There are several reasons for the same. In a very short span of time, LPU has received several ranks and accreditation. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. LPU is a worldwide level University w

Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.

However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.

You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.

Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.

If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.
