Hello! I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about CU. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculties, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students. University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculties and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Also, such projects boosted up my CV and helped me in my placements as well as in my professional career. I hope this helps you

On the basis of feedback received from alumni's, B.Tech (CSE )from LPU is highly recommended because of the continuous efforts in providing learning environment to the student. LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. There are more than 250 courses which are offered by the University. B.Tech (CSE) is also one of the high in demand programme. Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology UG Programmes have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. This course also assists in developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Students are provided in-depth knowledge to the students through department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms. Both the universities are good at their own place. Here you need to do the comparison. A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. If you are looking forward for pursuing CSE in LPU, it's a good option. I would like to share my cousin's experience: He told that With the advancement of course you'll be learning numerous programming languages. In the third year, SAP will be introduced in the curriculum. Limited number of Universities provide this course. Here in LPU, students will learn SAP for the entire third year providing them an edge. At the end of second year students get an option to choose one of seven different minors to pursue (IOT, Big Data, Web Development, Machine Learning, Android App Development, Data Science, Cyber Security). A student can opt for any, according to field of interest. Students start getting internship and job offers from the 6th semester on wards. If you are eligible and possess all the requirements needed by the recruiter, then you may get placed in the 6th semester itself. The packages are quite decent too, for instance the first company that visited the campus in 2018 gave a package of 13 LPA. Apart from all the curriculum you'll come across, literally, 100s of technical and non-technical competitions being held. Participating in them will give you an extra exposure, an extra platform to share your knowledge and showcase your skills. Summarizing up, if you are really interested in pursuing Computer Science and Engineering then Lovely Professional University is one the best options available. Great professors, great environment, everything is just as good as it can be. The curriculum may feel heavy as compared to other courses, but in the end it'll be worth it.

Hi, In my perspective, you should opt for B.Tech CSE in LPU without thinking twice. One of my friends did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and she is working in an MNC now. I had a conversation with her regarding her 4-year journey in LPU and I am going to share her experience with you. The staff is well qualified and most of them are PhDs. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs, etc. Are an integral part of the curriculum. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. Dear Ashish, The demand of CSE graduates is high in the market and corporate sector due to sharp increase in software based applications and management system. Every university is doing good for his students for their best career. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in CSE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. The best university for B.Tech is Chandigarh University. The university is NAAC A+ graded. The university has a number of workshops in which students can increase their knowledge and polish their skills.
