Dear Utkarsh, LPU, Galgotias, ABES, and JSS are good private institutes in India for higher education and doing well. Here, I can provide you with the details of B.Tech in CSE at LPU only as my friend did this programme from LPU itself. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. All the above institutes are very much fine and fair but I would like to capture your attention on the following:An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. The Eligibility details are that the student must pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is a major branch of engineering in LPU, the maximum number of student gets admission in computer science engineering degree programme along with mechanical engineering, ECE, EE, MBA, Ph.D. Diploma here. The university provides a lot of resources for students. Somewhere LPU is also known for CSE, they've larger number of professionals to teach student. Maximum number of professors are having at least Ph.D. in their particular subject, they also have industrial experience, so they know what industry needs. Having an industrial experience helps them to guide their student in right direction, this is how they help student in their actual. About the quality of education in LPU. I'm super impressed with the education quality. The tutors are the biggest helper. Help is available everywhere through the classmates/ seniors / faculty members. Proper material is provided by faculty. A huge library where you can do your self-study and prepare your own notes. Must say University life requires hardworking, having good social relationship and activeness. LPU has best lab facilities with dedicated lab for each subject. Each stream has dedicated laboratory division with fully functional world class equipment, and advanced research laboratories. The fee is very nominal for students as compare to the other private colleges, starting from 36000 per semester, and higher or lower based on scholarship scheme. Placements and job opportunities in LPU is as good as compared to other private colleges and now it is getting better and better, there are loads of companies with LPU has tied up for placement of their student. Many seniors have been placed in the reputed companies because of the opportunity provided by college.
