Which college is better among NIT, Surathkal for mechanical and ICT, Mumbai for chemical branch?

I have heard that both branches are similar and NIT tag is more helpful in India. Apart from that, what should I choose and why?

both are good options u will not have to worry about placement. Mechanical engineering u will basically study mechanics and about materials I.e. physics. In chemical engineering u will study about chemistry of course applied one . now do what u think u should do
