It depends on the campus you are getting, if you get VIT Vellore then no doubt you go there, but if you are getting VIT Chennai I'll suggest you to go to SRM (main campus) because the campus life is too low and strictness is too damn high for you to enjoy. But yes, when it comes to placement and international recognition both VIT are equal and better than SRM.

VIT, Vellore is ranked as no. 1 private university of India. Except fee structure, it is good in every aspect in comparison to SRM.

I think SRM University Chennai is better than VIT, Vellore because currently my cousin goes to Japan for internship by campus recruitment in this university. I mean many international companies come for recruitment in this university in compare of VIT, Vellore.

Today, I went to an Education fair in Chennai! They said VIT has a very rigorous and good curriculum! So, there is international recognition and study wise, I think VIT is better! Obviously, I am biased because its my alma mater!

If you compare SRM and VIT for BBA, SRM is way better than VIT in all the criteria like placement, infrastructure, teachers student ratio and others.
