I'm sorry I've no idea about sambalpur IIM, but I think Placement wise the location of SIMSREE will always have an edge. -
This is my experience till now in SIMSREE: SIMSREE is a student driven institute. From this you can make it out that all the college management and some part of administration is handle by the students. Students are part of 10-11 different committees, each with a responsibility to handle various college activities 24x7 and 365 days. So you can make out the amount of experience and exposure we get when we organised events, guest lectures which further increases students networking skills.
