As per the Shiksha Grading, the University of Maryland College Park has an overall university grade of A+, whereas the University of Maryland Baltimore County has a B+ overall grade. In terms of ranking and reputation the University of Maryland College Park is better than the UMBC. In addition, the University of Maryland College Park has an acceptance rate of 45% which is almost half of the UMBC acceptance rate (81%).
