VIT should be a better option. However, all are good colleges so it would be a tough decision. Take all aspects into consideration like hostel, mess, facilities and atmosphere before making a decision.

Its difficult to compare, both are private deemed universities, but VIT has years of service and reputation behind while SRM is a relatively new generation private deemed university.

VIT is better in many aspects in comparison to SRM University and from past 2 years it is ranked amongst best private colleges in India in NIRF rankings. It bags 13th position amongst 1024 colleges in all over India.

Both the colleges are similar in their education standard. It depends on placements after the completion of degree. I think SRM is a better option.

VIT is better in terms of placement and infrastructure then SRM. According to me you should appear for the entrance exam of both the deemed universities.
