According to placement and other facilities iim is better but where do you want to go its your's choice.

If you are comparing MBA and PGDM offered by IITs and IIMs then PGDM of IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow and Indore is superior to MBA offered by various IITs.

IIT is for Engineering and IIM is for Management. There is a difference between them.
