Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. Ive spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. Ive tried summing up my experience so far, below:
Campus:- Lovely Professional University is an impeccable university. LPU is not only the university with the largest campus in North India but also the university with the most diverse student population. Students from all across the world live in the hostel, which comes the closest to being 'a home away from home'. The mixture of races and religions helps to build a decent environment. Education : The quality of education is good so far. If you are an average student and worried about the standard of education in the university then you can cross that off from your list, as the education here is delivered properly, interactively and conveniently. Placements- LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. There is a huge opportunity to get placed in a good MNC through Lovely Professional University. Many companies visit here for placement drive, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Dainkin, HCL, Bosch and Samsung are visiting campus for recruitment. Ranking:- Ministry of Human Resource Government of India Ranked Lovely Professional University No. 2 in India in Management. LPU is proud recipient. Of Golden Star Award 2018 for being University with Best Placements in India. Digital Learning has recognised LPU as having the highest Placement Record in North India, 2018. Business and Management Chronicle has ranked LPU among Top 10 Colleges in terms of placements (2017). Earlier Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Faculty:- The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Hostel: The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel.

Hi there, Being an alumni as well as an existing student of LPU I must say that Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculty members and staff, offering more than 300 programmes. Talking about Lovely Professional University, I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU -
1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand.
2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here.
3) Placements - The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more
4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives.
5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus.
6) You will get an online system I. e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as LPU concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc.
9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you will have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. Let it be football, cricket, basketball anything. You will get many-many tournaments in every case. If you are a computer geek, you like coding and all that technological stuff. You are gonna have a great ride.

Hi there. Both the colleges are commendable and I was also searching for universities a while ago but now I am a student for whole one year and I think I made a great choice. I'll tell you about it now that why LPU I feel that LPU is a better fit for the students. Register yourself
Appear for the LPUNEST exam.
Once the results are announced, you have to choose a course
Take part in the counselling session and seat allotment.
