Hi, LPU is well known for its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. D. and provide full support to the students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I would like to name a few companies that

The mentioned universities are doing good in academics but LPU is outperforming. One of my niece did her studies from LPU and told that LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes and offering more than 250 courses wherein B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture is one such course. Lovely Professional University is among a very few private institutions in India which is putting continuous efforts on the academics, research, overall development, culture, professional ethics and providing suitable infrastructure for the same. Hello,
With the best of my knowledge I can say that LPU School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. LPU Becomes the First Private University to be Granted ICAR Accreditation By the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Since my college days I had interest towards plants and vegetation, so I always keep on visiting the agricultural land in Lovely Professional University, one of my roommate w

Every university is doing good for his students. So it is difficult to say which one is best. But yes, there are certain parameters to compare to select the best. LPU has ICAR accreditation for his agriculture courses. No other private university has this accreditation. Let me clear first what is the meaning of ICAR. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an accreditation from the Central ministry of India related to study of agriculture which is given to those universities who are the best for this field means, if a university have all the resources in terms of labs, fields, well qualified and experienced staff and faculty,

LPU is the best place to purse Agriculture because it floats B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture instead of B.Sc. Agriculture. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. Lovely Professional University is among a very few private institutions in India which is putting continuous efforts on the academics, research, overall development, culture, professional ethics and providing suitable infrastructure for the same. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. Amity University and LPU, both are doing well in the Education Sector. If talk about B.Sc. Agriculture, I will put LPU above Amity University. Let me explain why the LPU is best option:
    1. School of Agriculture, LPU is Accredited with ICAR. No private University has the ICAR Accreditation, so LPU become the first to get the ICAR accreditation.
    2. LPU offers the B.Sc. Agriculture with hons. Degree is much more standardized and superior than the general degree. So this is also one of the factor to be considered.
    3. Moreover, LPU has well-equipped labs, lecture halls, excellent agriculture farms to conduct the agriculture experiments.

Without any biased approach. Both the universities are good on their parameters. But if we talk about B.Sc. (Agri. ). Or any other agricultural programme, the most important aspect is that the institute must be having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) coordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (government of India). LPU is having ICAR accreditation for their Agricultural programmes, as it becomes one of the first private university to have the same.

In my opinion, I gave my vote to LPU for B.Sc. In agriculture as one of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features.
    1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation.
    2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph.Ds. This and provide full support to the students.
    3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.
    4. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is alloca
