Which college is better for B.Sc. Agriculture in Amity University, Noida or LPU, Jalandhar?

Hello, With the best of my knowledge I can say that LPU School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Since my college days I had interest towards plants and vegetation, so I always keep on visiting the agricultural land in Lovely Professional University, one of my roommate who was enrolled in this course, use to share his experience in class, labs and projects. As per my experience and feedback from students and alumni's I will share the details of the course: LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. 44+ Campus Placement Drives With Reputed Agriculture Companies. Dear Nomanjee, Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing my BSc in agriculture, I do have may friends who are pursuing the same. LPU is accredited by ICAR. It is the 1st private university to get accredited by ICAR(Indian Council of Agricultural Research). School of Agriculture offers programs with up to date curriculum designed to suits the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The school offers world class equipped laboratories, library and faculty for one to one assistance. Special emphasis is given to students for hand on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture students done research on Project On Floating Island-The project involves the introduction of floating islands for water management and improving sanitation and regulation of water quality & restoration of the water table with the help of biological agents. Students hitherto organic yields of Spinach, Cauliflowers, Cabbage, Turnip, Radish, Carrots have been well accepted by local consumers at University, who have liked these for quality, taste, appearance and appeal. They have also produced organic wheat. Students have started working on the production of Baby-Corn, Parsley (Kind of Coriander), Lettuce (Green Leaves), Dill (A Fragrance), Lemon Grass and other. They have also worked for growing and marketing of all types of summer vegetables. In addition, they are learning Green House (Poly House) production, Tissue culture, Collection of Plasma, usage of natural resources & compost, floriculture, and above all entrepre University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Hi there, Amity University and LPU, both are doing well in the Education Sector. If talk about B.Sc. Agriculture, I will put LPU above Amity University. Let me explain why the LPU is best option: 1. LPU is the best because LPU have ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (government. Of India). Among all 8 institutions evaluated at Cars 22nd Board Meeting, LPU School of Agriculture was approved for accreditation with one of the highest ratings. With 101 ICAR institutes and 71 agricultural universities spread across the country, this is one of the largest national agricultural systems in the world.
