Well in my opinion Lovely Professional University is good in all aspects. Here I am mentioning some based on which you can make your decision. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research, technology, exposures (both national and international), placements, accreditation, Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in.
My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely professional university and currently he is working with Amazon with highest package.He has learnt a lot from LPU. Reviews are pretty good.
He told me students are exposed to various fields like Cloud Computing, IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, Databases and Information Systems, Android Programming, Computer Architecture, Program Methodology, and Algorithms Design.
He also said,With the advancement of course youll be learning numerous programming languages. In the third year SAP will be introduced in the curriculum. Limited number of Universities provide this course. Here in LPU, students will learn SAP for the entire third year providing them an edge.
LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it.
Also in today's generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning thats why LPU offers their students to participate in a lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you will be able to manage time for exploring other things.

Had same question when I was seeking the place for my higher studies. I am an alumni of LPU and My real brother is also LPU passed out with CSE. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. Without any doubt, LPU is the best option for B.Tech CSE. Being an Alumni from the same course, I am sharing few of the major highlights of this course. LPU Students wins Car Design Competitions at the Delta Automation Contest-2017 in China among which more than 75 teams participated from across ASIA. In another achievement Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. India's first-ever self-driving, solar-powered bus hits the road and made the maiden journey at the Indian Science Congress which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, held at LPU. The bus was designed by LPU students. Engineering Students from all over India Participated In EFFI-Cycle, Held At LPU Campus in Collaboration With Maruti Suzuki where there were more than 70 participants from institutions like IITs, NITs and from colleges across India. There was cash price of 1 Lacs at the national green mobility competitive event. LPU Students don't just draw a car design, they actually built it and presented it alongside Mercedes, BMW etc. At Auto Expo where LPU students showed 15 unique car designs and prototypes. LPU students design and race go karts, electric bikes, solar cars and efficient pedal cycles. That's the way to learn engineering!
More than 550 students hired on a single day by Cognizant, TWICE. LPU has collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Eng students. Free training on SAP Business Suite is being provided to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification
LPU has a tie up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. Both are good choice for engineering. Among both JIIT is better option. JIIT having good reputation in the industry and a good alumni network. JIIT is deemed established 20001, placements are a strong point of JIIT with companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Cognizant, Barclays, SAP etc. Visiting the campus every year and every student walking out with atleast one offer (some with more than one).
