Which college is better for B.Tech CSE in terms of academics and placement: LPU or SRM, Chennai?

Both are among top colleges of India. But fees is srm is very high 4.48 L per annum. whereas in lpu u get scholarship acc to ur merit. so I suggest u to go to LPU. all the best

There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Secondly, University should not just focus on connecting student with the company, but should polish the student in such way that he/she is able to crack any interview easily. Both the universities have their pros and cons. But to choose one then, LPU without any doubt. Let me give you a brief reason why? LPU being the largest private university in India having 30000+ students studying in more than 200+ courses, which includes 6000+ international students, LPU has lived up to its expectations, with the quality of education satisfying these international students, the placement opportunities are amazing as well. AA+ Infrastructure including shopping malls including eaters like Domino, refreshment centers with pool clubs, shooting arena, bowling alley, skating zone, indoor swimming pool (nearly completed is under construction), basketball courts, gaming zones, grounds for football, hockey, cricket etc. I can go on and on to mention what is in this university and that is nearly everything and LPU has the largest Private Residential accommodation in the World, etc. With Quality Education, Placements in LPU is also amazing, with a top brand in the world coming for recruitment provides great opportunities to its students.

Lovely Professional University has achieved so much in the short span of time as it is having well qualified teachers, the big giants recruit from here. In the year 2019, a student from CSE background got recruited in Microsoft with a package of 42 lac. That says a lot for the impeccable placement record of LPU. LPU facilitates the students with professional enhancement classes, regular industrial visits, guest lectures by an industrial experts. Even it is having tie up with numerous foreign universities, in which a student can visit for an international exposure or even look out for credit transfer option. In addition to all the above facts, LPU also takes care of the co-curricular activities. Various events are conducted every year to cater the talent of the students. B.Tech CSE at LPU is by far miles ahead of all others when we talk about placements. 12 centers of excellence set up by Industry leaders, innovation, design thinking and incubation labs, Cutting edge trainings line SAP and other MOOCs, Centre for professional enhancement, Diversity among students and faculty, industry focused curriculum, Industry interface, guest lectures, large number of internal and external competitions, events, co curricular activities etc. Enable the students to get the placements of their choice. Last year Microsoft recruited student AAT INR 42 lacs per annum. The backbone of course delivery is faculty, LPU has about 700 Ph.D. faculty which is carefully recruited so that the rigors of the programme can be delivered in letter and spirit. Around 270 companies visited LPU for CSE graduated only. Which speaks volumes abut the talent and how it is nurtured in campus.

Every university is doing good but LPU is doing best in Engineering that too in B.Tech CSE. Well, each of us have our own perspective of viewing or understanding things. Sharing my knowledge regarding placement from all these universities, I would recommend LPU, in terms of giving maximum no. Of opportunities to candidate. In LPU, there are many companies who visit for CSE. Huge no. of tech festivals, seminars, workshops are held there. A very good environment is there as lot of culture diversity. Apart from study, students can learn many other things from diversity. Moreover, for getting place anyone need knowledge which is 80% in student's hand, only 20% help from other resources. Coding skill comes only by self-practice, even top college can't let you learn these skill. If you have these skills, no one can stop you get place, whether on campus or off campus placement: whether it is LPU or any university. Coming to LPU now and its placements, then LPU is now ranked as among top 5 universities of the country. hi, rakshit, obviously srm chennai is superv college than the lpu, I thonk u should go for the srm chennai, it is superb in placement, faculty, area, study, extra activity, but LPU does not good as srm, as u also know that litracy rate of south is more than any othe state, so I think I can go to srm, please pursue with srm, thakks hope this help u, best of luck also the minimum plcement of srm is 4 lakh, & avg is 9 lakh, & maximum is 55 lakh, but lpu does not give superv package, its minimum package is 2.5 lakh, avg 4 lakh, maximum is 25 lakh, thanks
