I would say, look for other option as well. Biotech is a upcoming field, though not fully matured in India yet, but for fresh aspirant, they will enter this industry when it will be at its high growth rate. LPU is the best bet for training in this field. Focus is on correlation of concepts w

Despite the fact that you get to rock in your very own department building, with the biotechnology department having the highest number of faculty members, academic or non academic, I must tell you the placements for biotechnology at SRM are'nt satisfactory.

VIT University will be the better option, because VIT offers good placements records as well as have good faculties. It is among the top reputed colleges of India and have a tie up with many MNc's.

B.Tech in Biotechnology: VIT University is better because The School offers two undergraduate (B.Tech.) and six Postgraduate (M.Sc. & M. Tech.) programmes.
