Which college is better for B.Tech in civil engineering, LPU or SRM?

We should not compare the two, both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to tell you Ranking, education, placement, technology and infrastructure in every aspect LPU is better. Ranking: If I talk about ranking so LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and government university. This year what shook me the most is the recent ranking by the worlds university ranking again amongst all government and private university. Placement: Placement is second most important factor what applicant can SEE in university/college while taking admission. So, in lovely professional university from 100 students 90-95 students get placement. Specifically in B.Tech, the highest salary package was 64lac per annum. In management it was 21lacs per annum. So, in my point of view its great packages as compare to any other university. Infrastructure: There is green areas in the university at so my different areas, classroom with a/c, google lab, IMAC lab, moot court, fine art lab, agriculture farmland, space centre, play grounds, and both girls and boys hostel Happy Learning.

Dear Xeeshan, Both LPU and SRM are good but being alumni of LPU I would recommend LPU for Civil. The Civil Engineering programme at LPU prepares students to take on a variety of jobs. At the same time, it gives them the requisite knowledge and practical experience to take on jobs that allow them to create safe living environments and rebuild communities after the onslaught of natural disasters. The aim of the department of civil engineering at LPU is to ensure that graduates will have a mastery of fundamental knowledge, problem-solving skills, engineering experimental abilities, and design capabilities necessary for entering civil engineering career and/or pursuing higher studies and to prepare students to enter a modern civil engineering workforce and to be successful in their career and profession. If you want to be on a construction site, building, testing, and monitoring developments then you can be. If you prefer to be in the office designing and problem-solving then you can do that too. I have done MBA from Lovely Professional University and I had many friends from Civil Engineering, so I have idea course, Placements, Curriculum, as they use to share with me. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing the students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. The school, in coordination with the Division of Career Services has moved from strength to strength. It has placed many students in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant, etc. Students have been completed Industry delivered Certificates like Soma enterprises, L & T, Gammon, etc. Experiential Learning is offered. Xeeshan, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies come for recruitment purpose and have made the campus their favourite recruitment hub. Most of the students are placed in good companies with high package. If you want to do civil then go for SRM and if u you want to do CSE then go for LPU. Both colleges are good to pursue any course but it all depends on your luck,in which college you will get admission. All the best!!
