    We should not compare the two, both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to tell you Ranking, education, placement, technology and infrastructure in every aspect LPU is better. Ranking: If I talk about ranking so LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and government university. This year what shook me the most is the recent ranking by the worlds university ranking again amongst all government and private university.     Dear Xeeshan, Both LPU and SRM are good but being alumni of LPU I would recommend LPU for Civil. The Civil Engineering programme at LPU prepares students to take on a variety of jobs. At the same time, it gives them the requisite knowledge and practical experience to take on jobs that allow them to create safe living environments and rebuild communities after the onslaught of natural disasters.     Both the Universities are good at their own, But I would say Lovely Professional University is best. I have done MBA from Lovely Professional University and I had many friends from Civil Engineering, so I have idea course, Placements, Curriculum, as they use to share with me.     If you want to do civil then go for SRM and if u you want to do CSE then go for LPU.
    Both colleges are good to pursue any course but it all depends on your luck,in which college you will get admission.
