Which college is better for B.Tech in civil engineering, LPU or SRM?

We should not compare the two, both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to tell you Ranking, education, placement, technology and infrastructure in every aspect LPU is better. Ranking: If I talk about ranking so LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and government university. This year what shook me the most is the recent ranking by the worlds university ranking again amongst all government and private university. Placement: Placement is second most important factor what applicant can SEE in university/college while taking admission. So, in lovely professional university from 100 students 90-95 students get placement. Specifically in B.Tech, the highest salary package was 64lac per annum. In management it was 21lacs per annum. So, in my point of view its great packages as compare to any other university. Infrastructure: There is green areas in the university at so my different areas, classroom with a/c, google lab, IMAC lab, moot court, fine art lab, agriculture farmland, space centre, play grounds, and both girls and boys hostel Happy Learning.

Lovely Professional University is one of the best university for all branches either it is civil, mechanical, EEE, ECE or others. It is definitely a growing university with great exposure. Considering the situations under civil engineering teaching, labs, exams, amenities in the campus all are par excellent. The course benefits the students by giving them an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. The Department aims to provide students with a technical foundation incorporated with the industrial need together with the breadth needed in the profession via advanced study or field training, or as a base for other pursuits. In order to get this develop we have timely workshops, and seminars. Coming to faculty, they are one of the best mentors to us & everything here is up to the mark. The faculty is supporting if one is willing to learn. They teach the subjects with their full effort. Writing board, screen-projector, labs are used to teach. Dear Xeeshan, Both LPU and SRM are good but being alumni of LPU I would recommend LPU for Civil. The Civil Engineering programme at LPU prepares students to take on a variety of jobs. HI Xeeshan, first of let me tell you, Civil engineers generally work in a variety of locations and conditions. It is common for them to split their time between working in an office and working outdoors at construction sites so that they can monitor operations or solve problems onsite. Now to work in multilingual environment, there is a high requirement of exposure to both National & International platform at the time of your pursuance of course itself. So in my opinion, it's better to grab the opportunity of International Exposure provided by the University. I am not sure about the offerings of SRM, but being alumni of LPU, I must assure you about such offerings of LPU itself. LPU's credit transfer policy allows students to pursue the terminal semester/year of their degree and further receive the final Degree Certificate from the foreign partner university only. At the same time student can go for Summer/Winter School, Semester Exchange.
