Being a student of CSE second year, studying in HIT, I can properly justify this question. IEM and HIT are almost the same in terms of academics. In the ranking of MHRD, both HIT and IEM comes under the ranking of 101-150. The faculties of CSE department, here in HIT are almost good (Exceptions are always there). The classes are interactive. Some of the professors use IIT-KGP lectures and this helps in getting things more clear.
The placement percentage is quite good. Around 85-90% CSE students are placed with around 3.5 - 4.00 LPA. Also, some get a package of 6-7 LPA. TCS mainly visits for campus drive. Some other visiting companies ar...more
