Which college is better for B.Tech in CSE: KIET Group of Institutions (KIET) or AKGEC?

AKG is best college in terms of placements, faculty and also in the infrastructure as this college had great experience in students affairs that why this college is an awesome place to learn and for the lot of fun.

Comparing AKGEC and KIET is difficult as both the colleges are the best in terms of the course outline and both provide good technical education and have good placement records, or just parallel to each other. Faculty and Method of teaching: AKGEC and KIET have excellent and highly qualified faculty members, but in regards to teaching methodology, KIET and AKGEC are same. KIET always focuses on academics with good practical knowledge. For KIET, academics and practical knowledge are equally important which also gives the excellent result as KIET is a no.1 college in AKTU. AKGEC also focuses on the same methodology. KIET has good academics results than AKGEC. Placements: Both the colleges maintain a good record in terms of placements. KIET has good placement record as compared to AKGEC like getting the highest offer and avg salary. KIET students get around more than 700 placement offers, coming to the CSE, 95% students in CSE got placement offers in the year 2016-17. Many big companies like TCS, AMAZON, DIRECTI, BYJU's, CAPGEMINI, KRONOS, SMARTPIX, NEWGEN, etc., have visited the campus for placements. Getting the highest offer of around 14 LPA. While AKGEC has a record of around 700 offers. One of the biggest advantages which KIET has is the TBI-KIET who's main aim is to focus on the entrepreneurship, helping student for setting up the startups and make their idea reality. Nowadays, AKGEC also has its own business incubators. Infrastructure: Both the colleges have the same infrastructure. KIET has good infrastructure campus spread over 17.6 acres with all the facilities, latest labs, playgrounds hostels classrooms, cafeteria, etc. It is up to the standard level and requirements. AKGEC has a large campus spread over in 40 acres with all the standard facilities & facilities like certified training facilities by Microsoft and Oracle. At last, in terms of the result, ranking and placement, KIET is a better option as compared to AKGEC.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College is overall good in terms of faculty and infrastructure. The college offers 90%. The average package offered during the college placements is around 5-6 LPA which is quite fair for a fresher. Top recruiters which visit the college are like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Newgen, INA, etc. All the professors here are mostly Ph.D holders from good institutions including IITs and some of them are exceptionally well as there are always exceptions in each case, some faculty members have poor knowledge of their subjects. The faculty is helpful and cooperative. The placement is almost definite for CSE and is average in numbers. A couple recruiters are Infosys and TCS. As far as KIET is concerned, it is a fine choice in terms of good placements. The college is very spacious and is affiliated to AKTU and follows the syllabus strictly. Faculty members are very cooperative with the students. The top recruiters visit the campus are TCS, Josh Technologies, Indian Army, L&T, Tech Mahindra, Rudra, Landcraft, etc. Every company has its own selection procedure and criteria for selection. They have offered the package starting from 3 to 10 LPA. There are big classrooms having the basic requirements. Labs are having all the required apparatus and well-trained faculty members guide us. There is a central library which has more than 10,000 books and each department has their separate library. Students can issue the books for 15 days using their digital QR ID. The speciality of the college is that there is a medical room which has a doctor available every evening and ambulance service is available 24 hours for the students. Sports stuff is provided to the students for their entertainment. They mostly try to make students learn the things and understand easily with virtual help like using videos, live practical examples and real life examples. Their experience of teaching is so good that they easily explain the things which they want to.
