Which college is better for B.Tech in CSE: MAIT or MSIT?

    Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology both of them are affiliated to Guru Gobind Institute of Technology, Delhi.
    According to me Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology with computer science engineering is much better than Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology because of the following reasons:
    1. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology ranks 83 in the list of top engineering colleges of India.
    2. Faculty of Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology is much more knowledgeable and experience then Faculty of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

    Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology are both administered by the same group of universities known as GGSIPU. And so the course curriculum and the structure along with examination pattern and evaluation for both the colleges is almost equivalent and is monitored by the same authority.
    Although the college of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is a bit more strict on attendance and outgoing pass.
    Also Maharaja Surajmal College of Technology is located in the heart of the city where it has outlets for food, entertainment, libraries, which is missing for Maharaja Agrasen College of T

    Well, as an alumnus of IP University, I can safely say that these colleges are comparable in almost all aspects and there's not much difference in any of the parameters such as student pedigree, campus life, facilities, faculty, placements and brand value. It is important to note that these are top Tier 2 colleges.
    The placements for CSE in both the colleges attract IT/ITES recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, DXC, IBM and Microsoft. A few start-ups also have started to visit MSIT such as Josh Technologies, Hike and Times Internet. MAIT also attracts a few start-ups.
