Which college is better for B.Tech in Electrical Engineering: IIT Kanpur or IIT Kharagpur?

IIT, Kanpur in no way is a better choice than IIT, Kharagpur due to various reasons.
IIT, Kanpur students enjoy lots of freedom and can feel independent as the college administration makes you feel mature enough to take rational judgements whereas norms are strict at IIT, Kharagpur.
IIT, Kanpur has an average placement of 12 LPA and highest reaching up to 23 LPA whereas in IIT, Kharagpur it is 10.5 LPA, highest reaching up to 19 lakh.
Although, the labs and all other equipment related facilities are remarkable in both the institutes but still, Kanpur campus is more vibrant than Kharagpur consisting a pool of talented minds in it.

First of all, I would like to talk about your interest. You said you are interested in electrical engineering. Electrical is more about instrumentation, power systems, and control systems while electronics is more about microelectronics, communication, and embedded systems. During placements, degree doesn't matter much but your academic and non-academic achievements. But if you are aiming for the core industry, degree should be same as per industry requirements. As per the question, comparing the premier institutions in India i.e. IITs which are the best in terms of electrical engineering. Aas per the ranking, IIT-Kharagpur is the best among the both with the best available resources in the country. In terms of both academic and practical exposure, what the students get there is amongst the best
IIT Kanpur- The average placement package is around 10.50 Lacs.
The course fee is 3.7 Lacs.
Although the core jobs are decreasing over the year still it is over edge the other at Kanpur in terms if electrical engineering is concerned.
