Hello, I would say to explore more and look for other options as well. Being an Alumni of LPU, I would say LPU is one of the best option for B.Tech CSE. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. They can secure their future by getting these opportunities. Placements at LPU are best-ever achievements. Most definitely! Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the university intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. If you are willing to complete engineering and then work for some multinational companies, then this is the right opportunity for you at BIT. Placement are usually 97% for the eligible students. The packages are better when compared to other colleges. Students from CS do get placed easily with high salary but for others, its a struggle if students do not have a decent percentage. Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) witnesses about 70-80% placements with reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Bosch coming in for campus placements. Google drops in and picks up a couple of lucky students from here as well. The average salary is a mediocre Rs 3.5 Lacs per year and the highest goes to around Rs 9 Lacs per annum, a phenomenon observed in only few selected colleges. However, BMSCE has intake of 120 with 50% placements, rest of students go with off campus pool interviews and hence this college is not recommended for CSE.

Hi there, Both the colleges are top private colleges in Bangalore, however, BMSCE is better. BMS College of Engineering is one of the best campuses in Karnataka or South India. They offer excellent teaching methodology. The students of that campus are always given practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge. Bachelor of Engineering in CSE from BMSCE is always worthy and useful for a better carried as compared to Bangalore Institute of technology. BMS College students are getting placed in major companies during the course of study itself. The major reason is that they are focusing on quality teaching the new methodology of teaching. The focus on students careers very pointedly in case of BMS. The faculties in this campus are very much supportive and will give proper guidance to each and every student. BIT is one of the old campuses which offer average placements and infrastructure. BMS is one of the oldest campuses which is in the minds of Bangaloreans. The major highlight is that this campus imparts more practical knowledge as compared to any other college in Karnataka. The campus ambience is also good.

Hey, So, I am a student of BMS College of Engineering. I can give you a quick insight of CSE branch in our college. When it comes to placements, CSE is at top all the time. And in our college, we get a lot of exposure to improve our skills. There will be a lot of Hackathons and Codeathons that will be conducted. We have Oir Technical Fest called Phaseshift in the month of September which is a like a festival to all the BMSCians. It is a platform where you get to showcase your skills and put the things learnt in the theory to use. If you are looking for a lot of competition and improvement of your skills, I would say BMS is a very good option. And I am sorry, I don't know much about PES.
