Hello, I would say to explore more and look for other options as well. Being an Alumni of LPU, I would say LPU is one of the best option for B.Tech CSE. I faced lot of confusion in selection of university at the time of my graduation. After long comparison I felt good for LPU. It gave me extra edge in everything. I am an alumni of LPU and I have seen and heard his experience during his UG. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places and those who are not able to achieve anything due to their own mistakes then Grapes are sour. You understand what I mean. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. If you are getting CSE at MSRIT (Ramaiah Institute of Technology) then you should not be thinking about any other college. More details click: http://www.btechadmission.co.in/ MSRIT stands tall among the top 4 colleges in Bangalore (those coming under COMEDK) and has a much better infrastructure and reputation in comparison to BIT (Bangalore Institute of Technology). BIT-Bangalore has also got a good reputation for its infrastructure and faculty, but it is not as good as MSRIT. MSRIT has some of the best faculty members also the acceptance rate for MSRIT is low as it is among the most popular choices in COMEDK counselling sessions. While seats in BIT gets filled after there is no vacancy in MSRIT. As far as placements are concerned, both the colleges hold a good placement record, with MSRIT providing 90% batch placement and the average placement for MSRIT tends to be around 6-8 LPA while BIT providing for a little lower batch placement by 80% and having an average placement of the same range. Placement is usually 97% of the eligible students, the packages are better when compared to other colleges. Students from CS do get placed easily but for others, it's a struggle. If students have decent percentage they to get placed with high salary. Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) witnesses about 70-80% placements with reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Bosch coming in for campus placements. Google drops in and picks up a couple of lucky students from here as well. The average salary is a mediocre Rs 3.5 Lacs per year and the highest goes to around Rs 9 Lacs per annum, a phenomenon observed only a few selected colleges.

MSRIT is better than BIT. MSRIT is a brand which imparts quality education to students for so many years in our country. MSRIT is one of the best campuses in Karnataka or South India. They offer excellent teaching methodology. The students of that campus are always given practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge. Bachelor of Engineering in CSE from MSRIT is always worthy and useful for a better career as compared to Bangalore Institute of Technology. Students of MSRIT are getting placed in major companies during the course of study itself. The major reason is that they are focusing on quality teaching and the new methodology of teaching. The focus is on student's career in MSRIT. The faculty members of this campus are very much supportive and will give proper guidance to each and every student. BIT is one of the old campuses which offer average placements and infrastructure. MSRIT is one of the oldest campuses which is in the minds of Bangaloreans. The major highlight is that this campus imparts more practical knowledge as compared to any other college in Karnataka. The campus's ambience is also good.
