Which college is better for BE in CSE: CBIT or Vasavi College of Engineering?

CBIT and Vasavi College of engineering are the pretty good colleges for CSE but Vasavi College of engineering is better for CSE engineering. Pros of Vasavi College of Engineering over CBIT: 1. You will be under good as well as strict inspection by faculty in the first year. But, you won’t get much time for playtime and extra-curricular activities in the first year. 2. The college has a very good library facility with good number and of various fields. 3. The college is strictly against ragging, and that ragging scenario has almost become suppressed (99%). 4. Once you get done with your 1st year, and if your performance was good and genuine, then you may get good support from the core faculty in the coming years, which gives u a good momentum further. 5. The college has got a good cultural fest EUPHORIA in the 2nd half of every year. But the technical fest was not so good if you show up with high expectations. 6. The placements record was excellent for CSE, IT, ECE. And it was average for MECH, EEE. 7. The college has autonomous recognition with its own pros and cons. 8. The standard of teaching is good, but can only be recognized if you contribute your part in learning. 9. The lab facilities are very good compared to other state colleges, exceptionally even for mechanical and civil. Many colleges unable provide good facilities for these two branches. 10. The college even focuses on development of soft skills, technical skills, and human values to be inculcated by students.

Hi, Both are good colleges to pursue engineering, however, CBIT is somehow better in terms of exposure and placements. on the basis of PLACEMENTS:It is always a neck to neck compitition between cbit and vasavi.generally CBIT is gonna lead in placements compared to vasavi.last year highest package in CBIT was 50L(off campus).This year for oracle placements 9 students got selected in vasavi but only 3 from CBIT. ARCHITECTURE: CBIT is a vast campus with an area covering about 30 acres ,where as vasavi is covering an area about 13.6 acres of land. FACULTY:In CBIT college ,lecturers are highly experienced and qualified. FREEDOM: VASAVI is a bit strict than CBIT, (eg: vasavi has closed gate system and CBIT has open gate system) FESTS:in CBIT fests will be conducting very frequently and they are popular(eg:carpedium),in vasavi number of fests will be less. HOSTEL: CBIT has hostel facility where as vasavi doesn't. TRANSPORT: CBIT's transport covers all routes in hyderabad,vasavi's transport covers only few routes on hyderabad FEE structure:for CBIT Rs 1,13,500 and for vasavi Rs 1,60,000
