CBIT and Vasavi College of engineering are the pretty good colleges for CSE but Vasavi College of engineering is better for CSE engineering.
Pros of Vasavi College of Engineering over CBIT:
1. You will be under good as well as strict inspection by faculty in the first year. But, you won't get much time for playtime and extra-curricular activities in the first year.
2. The college has a very good library facility with good number and of various fields.
3. The college is strictly against ragging, and that ragging scenario has almost become suppressed (99%).

PLACEMENTS:It is always a neck to neck compitition between cbit and vasavi.generally CBIT is gonna lead in placements compared to vasavi.last year highest package in CBIT was 50L(off campus).This year for oracle placements 9 students got selected in vasavi but only 3 from CBIT.
ARCHITECTURE: CBIT is a vast campus with an area covering about 30 acres ,where as vasavi is covering an area about 13.6 acres of land.
FACULTY:In CBIT college ,lecturers are highly experienced and qualified.
FREEDOM: VASAVI is a bit strict than CBIT, (eg: vasavi has closed gate system and CBIT has open gate system)
