Before choosing any University for study I would advice you to do comparison on various parameter like Academics, Ranking, Exposure, Placements etc. My cousin Brother has done B.Tech ECE from Lovely Professional University so I have idea about this University. He got placed in Hewlett Packard Enterprise with decent package. I would like to discuss few points which will help you:- School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering is one of the best Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering colleges in Punjab and India. This tops companies are visiting campus for drives Bosch, Samsung, Voltas, Lava, Vodafone, Verizon, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, KEC International, Dharam Consulting, Cleanmax Solar, CSS Corp, Exide, Zamil ACs etc. Expert lectures are conducted in the form of invited talk throughout the year, where industry /academia experts share their wisdom to enhance students learning. They Encourage students to have maximum industrial exposure through visits for problem identification and emerging technologies. Hello ! Both have good placement but in case of infrastructure and facility LPU is better. Hello colleges are situated in the corporate world of Bangalore and thus has a plus point of getting more and more companies in the placement sessions. Moreover, when the talk is to choose between the two, one should go with RV College of Engineering over MS Ramaiah when it comes to ECE academics and placements. The average placement package is around 11 LPA in RV College and 9 LPA in MS Ramaiah. Also, the highest placement offered at RV College is around 18 LPA and the same from MS Ramaiah is 15 LPA from the recent placement statistics. All the best.

There is no doubt in my mind when I say that RVCE, being on the top of the list of the best private colleges in India, is clearly the better of the two colleges you have mentioned here. It by far is the most reputed college in Bangalore and has a really low acceptance rate, because of which seats for the college runs out the fastest at the COMEDK counselling sessions, as it is the most popular choice among the students. While, the acceptance rate is comparatively higher in MSRIT, with the college being among the top 3 top private colleges in Bangalore. Talking about placements, RVCE can ensure you with an average placement of 7-8 lacs in electrical and communication engineering branch, while its competitor ensures you with a placement of 5-6 lacs in the same branch. Also, among the two of your preferred colleges, RVCE is known to have more experienced and qualified faculty in the ECE branch, in comparison to MSRIT. With this I hope you make the right choice. Hi, The answer to your question involves multiple dynamics and it is not possible to answer it in terms of a single factor. So, I'll try to include multiple factors for you to understand it better. Faculty: Both the colleges have equally knowledgeable faculty. However, professors in RVCE are inclined towards research. This is the reason why you would see multiple patents coming out of the department. Infrastructure: Both the colleges have multiple labs. RVCE has an added advantage of particular labs set up by companies like NI, NXP, TI, Pace, etc. There are various software available for you to research and make projects. Projects from these departments generally get funded by the companies. Placements: Placement is something that every student is concerned about more than anything else. Well, both the colleges have equally good placements. RVCE-ECE current semester placements boast the package of 25 LPA and still counting. These are offered by top giants like Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, Walmart Labs, Mckinsey & Co., etc. Also, core companies like Intel, Texas Instruments, Cypress Semiconductors, NXP Semiconductors, Airtel, Qualcomm, etc., come for placements. ECE in RVCE is really good, probably the best in Bangalore. I would recommend you to opt for ECE in RVCE and you won't regret it. Hope it helps.
