Which college is better for BE in Mechanical Engineering: BMSCE or PES, Bangalore?

All these colleges are in Bangalore, and these colleges are considered some of the best colleges for engineering, excluding the IITs. The BMS (Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah) College of Engineering is an autonomous institution. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. This is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India and has a very strong and large student base. The Department of Mechanical Engineering, along with some other departments, has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) as TIER-1. The exams accepted by the college are KCET, COMEDK, and UGET GATE. It also has the BE in Mechanical Engineering course. PES University is a private university. It is not just focused on engineering; it has other core areas as well, such as life sciences, management, and medicine. Both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are available. The exams accepted by the university are KCET, UGET, GATE, COMEDK, and PESSAT. It has the course B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

BMS is one of the famous and most trusted campuses in the state of Karnataka. They have excellent placement for last 10 years. They always keep the standard of education on a bit better level. The campus is also situated in the busiest region of Bangalore. PES is a very famous campus in Bangalore which offers excellent infrastructure and quality education. PES: Excellent teaching, quality faculties, excellent placement, excellent infrastructure and good placement training. BMS: One of the oldest colleges, good qualified faculties, excellent track record, bit bad infrastructure, excellent placement training sessions, etc. Selecting a college for engineering education is very important. A college which offers quality placement needs to be selected. Colleges which offer excellent practical knowledge is to be chosen and selected. The experience of college matters a lot. 25-30 years of experience of the college help us understand the quality of education they offer. The alumni network of the campus should be analyzed before choosing a campus.

Hello, in case of PES University, Bangalore, the highest package is around Rs. 30000 per month and the lowest is around Rs. 20000per month. Robert Bosch, L&amp;T, and ABB sometimes visit the campus. Most of the students go to manufacturing sectors and some for analyzing and testing sector. Almost 90% of the students do an internship, including 10% students who do an internship in the foreign universities. The stipend depends on the companies, the minimum stipend is Rs. 5000 per month and the maximum is Rs. 20000 per month. In BMSCE, the placement scenario for the mechanical students is not that commendable. The average salary was around Rs 5 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary was Rs 2.5 LPA. Companies that recruited include Accenture, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Caterpillar, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, and many others. BMSCE: The College has an exclusive Placement and Training Centre to facilitate on-campus Placement opportunities to the students. The Centre has a professor in-charge of the activities. The Centre provides pre-placement training in soft skills to all pre-final year students to enable them to acquaint to the current corporate requirements. The centre facilitates students to face interviews & get jobs of their choice. More than 100 top and well established companies across the country/abroad from all sectors visit the campus for recruitment. Every year more than 80% of students from all the programs are being placed. PES: The placements scenes are very good for Computer Science, ECE and mechanical. The highest package is 24Lakhs per annum by Code followed Citix offering 22 Lakhs, Myntra offering 18 Lakhs. These are all Tier 1 companies. Tier 1 companies for Electonics branches include Qualcomm offering 14 Lakhs, CISCO offering around the same as Qualcomm. Tier 2 companies include Siemens, Wipro GMT, Bosch, Mindtree and many more. The package is around 4 to 8 Lakhs for Tier 2. Tier 3 companies are TCS, Accenture, Cognizant etc. The package is within 4 Lakhs. Awesomeness, just to say that even Google was on campus. There are 3 tiers tier one is above 6.5 lakhs tier 2 is from 3.5 to 6.5 and then tier 3 is anything below that.
