Which college is better for CS among IEM and heritage Kolkata in terms of placement, campus, college life?

Heritage is better in terms of infrastructure and college life. In terms of placements, both are okay. Both are private colleges and I think heritage is a good option for CSE.

<p>As you must know, both of these colleges are private and comes under WBUT (now MAKAUT). So, everything like semester duration, exams will same in both of these colleges. It totally depends on your interest that in which college you are more comfortable. The placement in both the colleges for CSE is almost same and companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The infrastructure of IEM is zero and there is no such campus. You will find a single building besides main road. There is no canteen in the campus, so you need to go for roadside food, which is very unhygienic. And library is not sufficient as per number of students present. Also, their rules and regulations are very hectic. In Heritage, campus is good and you will enjoy your college life for sure. You will be having a very good junior senior bonding also. For placements, same companies visit there too. To get a good placement, you need to prepare yourself and go for off campus recruitment, where college will not play big roles. So, my suggestion will be CSE in Heritage, if you don't find other good colleges in the country. Best of luck.</p>
