Which college is better for CS among LPU and AKGEC?

Hi, My brother did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and he is working in an MNC now. I have visited LPU several times during his 4-year journey. I will highlight some of the features. The staff is highly qualified and most of them are Ph. This. The faculty has in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and are supportive too. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, WorkIndia recruited at a package of 35LPA; Amazon recruited LPU students with 30 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA for B.Tech/M.Tech CSE by Optmyzr. To be very honest, I have never heard about AKGEC. Computer Science & Engineering is an academic programme at many universities which comprises scientific and engineering aspects of computing. To my advice, one must go for Computer Science and Engineering as it has been one of the most lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering colleges. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Definitely. If you are looking forward for pursuing CSE in LPU, it's a good option. Within the first year you'll get to learn number of basic courses with 2-3 programming languages. With the advancement of course you'll be learning numerous programming languages. In the third year SAP will be introduced in the curriculum. Limited number of Universities provide this course. Here in LPU, students will learn SAP for the entire third year providing them an edge. At the end of second year students get an option to choose one of seven different minors to pursue (IOT, Big Data, Web Development, Machine Learning, Android App Development, Data Science, Cyber Security). A student can opt for any, according to field of interest. At the end of 5th semester, students are given an option whether they want to go for placements services or not. Students who opt for placement services are provided extra inputs on Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Aptitude and Programming Input. Students start getting internship and job offers from the 6th semester onwards. If you are eligible and possess all the requirements needed by the recruiter, then you may get placed in the 6th semester itself. The packages are quite decent too, for instance the first company that visited the campus in 2018 gave a package of 13 LPA. Students do get placed and that too with quite a decent salary package. Apart from all the curriculum you'll come across, literally, 100s of technical and non-technical competitions being held. Participating in them will give you an extra exposure, an extra platform to share your knowledge and showcase your skills. Summarising up, if you are really interested in pursuing Computer Science and Engineering then Lovely Professional University is one the best options available. Great professors, great environment, everything is just as good as it can be. The curriculum may feel heavy as compared to other courses, but in the end it'll be worth it. Choose wisely where your want to study as it will be a key factor in determining your future. It was my point of view, my experience that I shared. Research for other universities too and find out which one suits you the best.

LPU is better than AKGEC. I prefer LPU, because it relatively contains high standard of living, beautiful culture and infra and comes under the category of renowned institutions whereas AKGEC has not such growth. Moreover, the location of LPU is far better in terms of academic and industrial exposure. Go for LPU.

AKGEC is far better than LPU. LPU is an infamous college but AKGEC is a reputed college and you will get good exposure there.
