IEM has a better work culture. If you want to study hard and do something big in academics then go for IEM. There is a continuous pressure of practicals and assignments and tests, so one have to be extremely determined and sincere in order to last in IEM. Timely submissions is mandatory. So, 4 years

Both are the top private engineering colleges of Kolkata,so you can choose any one of them,but if you want me to take one out of it then I will go with IEM because of slightly better placements.
