Which college is better for ECE: KIET or AKG?

KIET has better a placement record than AKG. KIET is Top colleges of AKTU (UPTU) and in KIET, labs are well-equipped and have all the required facilities that a department must have. Various workshops and seminars and conferences and guest lectures are organised from time to time.

There is no much difference between both the colleges. If you talk in terms of placements then both the colleges share equal status. Almost all of the companies that visit these colleges are from IT background therefore recruit mostly the CS/IT branch students so there is not much scope for students of other branches. Also, if you talk about academics then both the colleges are affiliated to AKTU so the syllabus and curriculum are same. Yes, if we compare the faculty members and teaching staff then we can say that the faculty members of AKGEC are very qualified and therefore better than KIET. But then one factor that again equalizes both the colleges is the attendance norm. AKGEC has very strict attendance norms which is not so in case of KIET. There is nothing like branch specific (since you asked about ECE) as far as these two colleges are concerned because almost the same set of companies visit the two colleges with a difference of either one or two.
