Which college is better for fashion design: JD Institute, LPU or GD Goenka?

Fashion Design is one of the most creative course options. This program is considered as one of the most prospective vocational education stream not only in India but abroad as well. This is primarily because the Fashion industry has grown by leaps and bounds and that too within a decade. There are many renowned Universities in India for pursuing Fashion Design course as everybody knows. But being an alumni of Lovely Professional University, I can say, I found LPU is always miles ahead from other Universities for pursuing any course. I had several friends who had done Fashion Designing course from LPU. In present days, I find they are quite an established professional in the same field. Aspirants can pursue Fashion Design as a course at the undergraduate or even at the postgraduate level. Apart from this, aspirants can even pursue short-term Diploma or Certificate programmes in the field of Fashion Design. Dear Prachi, I am not aware of the fashion design programme at JD Institute and GD Goenka but I can provide you with the details of the fashion designing programme as my elder sister has done her B. Design Fashion from Lovely Professional University and today she is successfully running her own Brand, she was also part of internship projects with leading Fashion stylists. At LPU one can learn FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY Acquire photographic skills for creative visualization and representation. FASHION STYLING This course aims at the innovative application of styling and grooming concepts. The student will work individually or in groups to apply the concepts of grooming and styling to create impeccable looks and lookbooks. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING The course enables a student to work with industry for a full term, where the student shall apply the skills learned during his entire design programme. INTERNATIONAL IMMERSION programme Students will have international exposure to institutes, industries, and corporate. It helps students find new grounds for learning overseas. KNITWEAR DESIGN The course shall equip students with understanding and application of photography following the fashion industry LINGERIE DESIGN The course imparts the skill of developing patterns and construction of lingerie with knit and stretchable fabric. She told me Study tours are an integral part of curriculum with visitation of architectural and prominent sites provides maximum exposure to learn technicalities of architecture. She said. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lecturers from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the students creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colours. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. They are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. In all these, LPU would be a better option as according to previous graphs of LPU it has tremendously increased in terms of every factor be it placements, exposure, and so forth.
