At LPU one can learn FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY Acquire photographic skills for creative visualization and representation. FASHION STYLING This course aims at the innovative application of styling and grooming concepts. The student will work individually or in groups to apply the concepts of grooming and styling to create impeccable looks and lookbooks. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING The course enables a student to work with industry for a full term, where the student shall apply the skills learned during his entire design programme. INTERNATIONAL IMMERSION programme Students will have international exposure to institutes, industries, and corporate. It helps students find new grounds for learning overseas. KNITWEAR DESIGN The course shall equip students with understanding and application of photography following the fashion industry LINGERIE DESIGN The course imparts the skill of developing patterns and construction of lingerie with knit and stretchable fabric. It imparts special construction skills for lingerie wear. This course is important because of recent expansion in the field of the lingerie market and gives new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities to the students. PERIOD COSTUME WORKSHOP Develop period costumes for films, theater, and other visual media. SEMINAR ON SUMMER INTERNSHIP, STUDY TOUR-CRAFT STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT, VISUAL MERCHANDISING, WORKSHOP ON FASHION ACCESSORIES are also held. There are workshops, shows, field visits, industry visits held from time to time to pad up the theoretical training with practical. Design Fashion from Lovely Professional University and today she is successfully running her own Brand, she was also part of internship projects with leading Fashion stylists. Also, her designs are appreciated not just in India but even abroad. She always keeps on appraising LPU for different platforms provided by them. I will be sharing a few major highlights of the Fashion Design course based upon her experience. The School of Fashion Designing of Lovely Professional University is doing extraordinary works in the field of Designing. They are conducting Fashion Shows regularly for the students. It gives a great chance to the students to show their talent in front of a big audience. Prominent designers are also taking part in the events. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lecturers from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the students creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colours.
