Triple IIIT-Allahabad is very good option for CS branch, it's placement is very good.

I would suggest you opt for the IIIT-A for IT. IIITA for the IT branch has more qualified faculty members, good and improved labs and best placements.

Both are good and there is no specific problem/shortcoming of one over the other. IIITA is a college for IT only specifically so yes it has a name for its IT branch only but apart from that both are great . IIITA has great and more recently developed and hence more modern infrastructure, placement
