Thapar stands out because of its strong research culture, modern labs, funded projects, and active Chemistry & Biochemistry department with significant research output and infrastructure. If you're comparing M.Sc Chemistry, Banasthali Vidyapith is often preferred for its academic focus and research environment.

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is also a good choice, especially if you're looking for better infrastructure and industry exposure.

VIT University is decent too,

I do go with Thapar. A friend did M.Sc there and had a good experience with faculty and research exposure. VIT is also good, but personally I'd rank it Thapar > VIT > Banasthali for M.Sc Chemistry.
