N.L Dalmia is ubdoubtable one of the best colleges in Mumbai for finance specialization. It provides a the highest package of Rs 24 lakhs in the field and a 100% placement. The college is renowned for its faculty focus of the specialization and 2/3rd of all students are hence in finance i.e. 160 out of 240. Faculty are mostly from IIMs and IITs.

    Hello!
NL Dalmia is better than Welingkar (only for Finance stream) as the fees are lower and the placements are better than that of Welingkar. So, go for Dalmia and keep Welingkar as a backup.

N L Dalmia is better for Finance as Top companies dealing in finance industry including credit rating, banking, analyst, etc. Hire the final year students. To name a few, companies like D. E. Shaw, RCCM, Citigroup, Piramal, HDFC, CRISIL, etc. Come to the campus for recruitment. These companies also select candidates for summer internships. The average salary package offered is approximately 6 lacs per annum. The highest package offered is 24 lacs per annum.

Welingkar is the best option as far as I know. So, I personally feel you should apply for it. ROI is an issue but, the placement and everything is really worth it.

According to placements and exposure, Welingkar is a good option in comparison to the N.L Dalmia. Besides placements, Welingkar also has good faculty and administration.

Welingkar is a college more focused on Marketing and Dalmia for Finance. So, it's about choosing between the brands and your capabilities to grab placements. Welingkar tough has low placements for finance but the package provided are really very good. This time may be the graph of finance will rise because of all the grooming and polishing given to students to improve placements. So, choice is yours. Any decision will be appropriate and suitable.
