I would choose LPU which. Tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result based education

2. LPU students are provided ample opportunities for full time internships and on-the-Job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Forbes Marshall, Bosch, Cognizant, Escorts, etc.

Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Instead of using old school books and...more

Hello,
The definition of better varies from person to person. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Secondly, University should not just focus on connecting student with the company, but should polish the student in such way that he/she is able to crack any interview easily. Being and LPU alumni, I have observed that LPU gives you ample opportunities to boost your CV and also focuses on over all development of student so that cracking a...more -

5 years agoAs per good placement cell is concerned so I would suggest LPU is really better than Sastra University. There are various big tech giants like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Facebook, Amazon, Capegimini, etc. Comes in LPU for the campus drive. So if you look at the last five years placement records so that is also amazing to watch. In addition to that the college also provide personality development classes facility, so don't worry for that you will SEE a change in your personality for sure. -

5 years agoSastra will provides you time for your personality development courses too. It will train everyone to face a tough situation before you appear for interviews in 4th year. Sastra is providing placements for 95% students. Rest will go for MS GATE preparation so they won't appear for interviews even. But with large student base the average package or the highest may be less. But it will provide jobs for many almost everyone studied. But if we come for LPU it will provide details of only the highest package students but not even how many secured jobs or avg package. So you have to decide I have you the answers. -
When it comes to placements, Lovely Professional University offers a very strong and versatile ecosystem compared to SASTRA University, especially for students who want wider exposure and diverse career options. LPU has built an extensive recruiter network across engineering, management, IT, analytics, consulting, and emerging tech domains, which gives students access to a larger number of roles and industries. The university focuses heavily on industry-aligned learning through internships, live projects, certifications, hackathons, and continuous placement training, which helps students become job-ready early. I've seen firsthand that

As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.

Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo
The Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) of LPU for the 2025 admissions into PE/sports programs was conducted in several schedules, with the latest being on August 26, 2025 (Schedule VI). For the year 2026, tentative dates start on April 16, running until August, in 6 phases. Please check the website for updates.
Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph
Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for sports programs like B.P.Ed is totally offline. It's this practical fitness check with stuff like a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for girls), and a 1000m run/walk—all done on campus with invigilators watching to keep it fair.
No online version here since it's hands-on physical activities, and you gotta bring your own sports kit or they won't let you in. LPU runs it in multiple schedules based on registrations, super flexible for everyone. Honestly, it's cool how they make it real-world ready witho
Hey, so the LPU Physical Efficiency Test (PET) isn't some super long drag—it's more like a quick fitness check that usually wraps up in 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how fit you are. You've got to nail a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for gals), and a 1000m run/walk, all in one go with up to two tries. No fixed "hours" timer since it's practical stuff, not a marathon sit-down exam. LPU keeps it real and fair, testing real stamina for sports courses like B.P.Ed—super helpful to see if you're ready without wasting your day. Bring your own kit or you're out, but slots are flexible
